Freak OUT!

Holden does this new thing and it is hilarious!

We call it the freak out!

He suddenly stops, spreads/stiffens his hands and fingers out wide, and makes this growling noise like he is so frustrated.

Its so funny!

I've been trying to catch him on video doing it and here's a freak out I finally caught on tape

Last few weeks

Holden got his first taste of ice cream.

He helped Daddy child proof all the cabinets (you know, since he can crawl now.)

Mommy, left me alone for 5.7 seconds and I found my Easter Basket.

I turned 10 months old.

And... I got into a pumpkin. 

Our first Art Project!

I made Holden some edible fingerpaints, so we could indulge in our first art project.

Heres how to make the edible paint....

3 TB sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 cups water

Heat is saucepan, let cool, then divide and color with food coloring.  REAL EASY!

I used the brushes to blob the paint on the canvas hoping he would use his hands, but he got more interested in the brush - so I let him have it.

He ate just a little of the paint, not much

We had so much fun and I cant wait for the next project (but I havent decided what to do next).

Look close and you can see the teeth on the bottom.

Clean up in the sink was really easy.

In the past few weeks....

My cousins came to visit me

I took a nap with Grammy...

 Holden got sick for the first time (with vomiting and diarrhea)..but his best friend Gypsy watched over him

My Papa got a new tractor and Holden got to ride on it.

So then, Daddy got Papa's old tractor and Holden likes to ride with him.

Holden played with his cousin, Matthew aka Eminem

 Mimi wheeled me around in my wagon

....and I turned 8 MONTHS OLD!!!!!

What we have been doing
